** As a Research Assistant within the REPAIR Research Team (Department of Physiotherapy), you will have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing and future stroke research projects, in particular the UPLIFT (UPper limb and Language Impairment and Functional Training) and the DOSE-UP (DOSE ranging in UPper limb rehabilitation after stroke) trials. AHPRA registered physiotherapists and occupational therapists with at least 3 years of experience working with people with neurological conditions will be considered for the position.

The person will work directly with A/Professor Kate Hayward (physiotherapist) and Dr Emily Dalton (occupational therapist).Your responsibilities will include:
* Conduct Stroke Recovery Research:
Coordinate participant recruitment, schedule and conduct assessments, and deliver intervention including upper limb therapy to people recruited to the stroke recovery trials.
* Manage Data and Reporting:
Collect, enter, and manage participant data, ensuring compliance with research standards.
* Collaborate and Communicate:
Liaise with team members, report project progress, and contribute to research publications and presentations.
* Uphold University Values:
Demonstrate and promote high standards of ethics, integrity, and inclusivity within the research environment.

** You are an experienced physiotherapist or occupational therapist with a strong background in neurological conditions, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to ethical research practices.
** You will also have:
*** Current Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy registration with the Allied Health Practitioners Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
* Possess at least 3 years of clinical experience with neurological conditions.
* Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Have strong computer skills, particularly in Zoom, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Be a proactive problem solver with strong organisational skills.
