FT - Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Rate of Pay $22/hr*
We are seeking a Full Time Personal Supports (DSP) to provide hands-on care to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities providing assistance with personal hygiene, activities/ outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.
Support a young woman in Baltimore County with building independence and community by working on skills and participating in activities in my community. Assist with finding new activities of interest and planning a weekly schedule of activities.
Staff should be patient, respectful, trustworthy, and able to encourage and participate in living a fun and fulfilling life.
This position is:
Tues - Fri 4p-9p (5 hours),
Sat and Sun 9a-7p (10 hours)
40 hours/ week
The schedule is subject to flexibility due to the needs of the individuals supported.
Some lift and transfer may be required.
Paid training, including CPR/First Aid, and opportunities to obtain Med Tech Certification!
DSPs assist with creating opportunities for individuals to live full and productive lives by:
Assisting with participation and exploration of the community
Cultivating and expanding independent living skills
Assisting with the development of meaningful and personal relationships
Implementing strategies to achieve individuals’ personal goals.

- Eligible candidates must have a high school degree/GED and a current driver’s license with less than three points on the driving record.
Rate of pay *$22/hr.*
* Regular Base rate is $22/hr there is an additional $1/hr. shift differential for weekend shifts. ($22 +$1=$23/hr.)
