Deep Saw Laborer; Saw​/Seal Division

Overview

Swank Construction Company, LLC is looking for a Deep Saw Laborer for our Saw/Seal Division. Females/Minorities/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.

Location:

Parkersburg, WV

The primary purpose of the Deep Saw Laborer position is to perform a wide variety of general labor tasks and to also run a walk-behind saw.

• Ability to perform physical labor activities which includes, but is not limited to, lifting, pulling, pushing, and/or carrying different types of objects/materials.
• Perform tasks which may include concrete cutting on roadways, highway bridges, and other surfaces.
• Ability to use or learn how to use different walk behind saws.
• Ability to interact with job site supervisors/customers.
• Inspection, general maintenance, and cleanliness of all company vehicles and equipment.
• Keeps job site clean of all unused/waste materials and ensures all equipment is stored in a safe and secure.
• Ability to use or learn how to use different hand and power tools.
• Ensure the practice of safety standards in accordance with company policies and OSHA.
• Willingness to perform and learn different aspects of the Laborer position.
• Perform all other tasks and follow instructions as directed by supervisors.

• Must be available to work varied shifts (days, nights, weekends)
• Willingness to travel for extended periods of time.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent - Required.
• Valid driver's license - Required.
• Up-To-Date DOT Medical Card - Required.

• Prior experience as a laborer or other relevant experience - Preferred.

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screens & background check, including MVR.
• Must be in a union or be willing to join a union.
• Dependable, Reliable, Punctual, & Self Motivated.
