Position Summary
Grogg's Home Services is looking for a motivated and reliable Plumbing Assistant to support our plumbing team in Parkersburg, WV. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in the plumbing trade while learning hands-on from experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with residential plumbing service, repairs, and installations
- Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials
- Help with pipe cutting, fitting, digging, and basic plumbing tasks
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times
- Provide courteous and professional interaction with customers
- Perform general job site cleanup and maintenance
- Prior plumbing or construction experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn the plumbing trade
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
