Overview

Retail Sales Associate – Part Time at ALLDATA (Auto Zone). Auto Zone’s store teams are the frontline of WOW! Customer Service, ensuring customers find the right parts and solutions for automotive needs. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory, assisting customers with product selection, and providing expert advice to enhance the shopping experience. This role supports driving sales, store operations, and maintaining a positive, knowledgeable retail environment.

• Customer Assistance & Communication – Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions through clear, professional communication.
• Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment. Support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Sales & Metrics – Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Inventory Management & Store Operations – Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow proper point of sale procedures and loss prevention policies to ensure smooth store operations.
• Process Orientation & Safety – Use structured processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including the use of PPE to maintain a safe work environment.
• Product Knowledge – Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through Auto Zone systems.
• Diagnostics Support – Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.

• Minimum Age:
  Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

  Availability including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

• Automotive Knowledge:
  Basic knowledge of automotive parts is preferred.
• Exceptional Communication:
  Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Automotive Retail:
  Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Certifications:
  
  Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
