Travel LPN - LPN

American Traveler is hiring a travel LPN/LVN with SNF/LTC experience and IV skills for a post-acute care unit, working evening shifts every other weekend.

Job Details

• Post-acute care setting in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF),

• 66-bed unit with a 1:19-20 patient ratio,

• Evening shift (3:00 PM-11:00 PM), 8-hour shifts, every other weekend required,

• Charting via Epic (experience required),

• CPAP, BiPAP, and oxygen equipment in use; no vents or trachs,

• Charge nurses carry a patient assignment on this unit,

• CNAs are present on the unit with varying ratios,

• Floating to other units may be required,

• No on-call or standby requirement,

Job Requirements

• Current LPN/LVN license required if applicable,

• Minimum 2 years of LPN/LVN experience required,

• SNF/LTC experience required,

• Basic IV skills required, including starting, hanging, and managing IVs,

• Current BLS certification (AHA) required,

• Epic EMR experience required,

• Availability for weekend and holiday coverage,

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient care management within a post-acute SNF environment, IV management, and working with respiratory support equipment such as CPAP and BiPAP,

• Any scrub color is acceptable,

• Weekend and holiday coverage is required,

• Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before being eligible to apply,

• Travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than a cumulative total of one year before a 2-year break is required,

• Submission requires a driver's license and copies of all certifications,

• Two references are required: one supervisor reference and one peer or additional supervisor reference,

• Skills checklist must be completed within the past year,

• Work history covering the past 7 years (or from graduation, whichever is less) is required, with no gaps greater than 30 days
