Nurse Practitioner Opportunity Description
Our client is a well-established and growing Behavioral Health/SUD provider based in the Parkersburg, WV area. They focus on treating PTSD and substance use recovery in an out-patient facility. They are looking to add a part-time Psychiatric
Nurse Practitioner to their team.
Nurse Practitioner Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing.
- Current certification as a Family (FNP) or Psychiatric Mental Health (PMHNP) Nurse Practitioner.
- Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and its application in clinical settings.
- Experience or knowledge in treating substance use disorder and/or mental health conditions is preferred.
Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Prescribe and manage psychopharmacological treatments, ensuring safe and effective medication management.
The compensation scale listed is a general salary range and is not intended to represent the actual annual or hourly compensation rate for this role. An offer will be made to the selected candidate at the conclusion of the interview process based on their relevant experience and the responsibilities of the position.
