Position: Travel Med/Surg Stroke Registered Nurse - $2,286 per week

Job Details:

• Work full-time day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

• Rotating weekend schedule required

• Serve as primary nurse for medical-surgical and medical stroke patients

• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 with support from 3 PCTs

• Unit flexes up to 35 beds with average daily census of 26-28

• Care for patients with COPD, pneumonia, abdominal pain, occasional surgical overflow including thyroidectomy

• NIHSS certification or stroke experience highly preferred

• EPIC charting system experience and travel experience highly preferred

• Handle post-TPA patients and lower acuity stroke cases

• BSN not required

• BLS (AHA) certification required

• Must provide unexpired copy of driver's license with submission

• License to submit accepted, willing to wait for processing

• Client may cancel 2 shifts per 13-week assignment and 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks
