The Vice President is responsible for the efficient operations of ambulatory services. Ambulatory services includes all free standing clinics and hospital-based clinics of WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center. Provides executive leadership and direction to ambulatory services with emphasis on business development, clinical integration, and oversight of financial and operational functions. Through the Ambulatory Service structure, the VP provides management oversight for the development of high quality, patient-centered, cost effective and integrated clinical programs.

Leads the execution of business plans to enhance the organization’s market position. Develops and expands ambulatory services and initiatives in support of increased volumes and revenues from ambulatory lines of business. Responsible for overall operations of outpatient services and other ambulatory care support operations. Works in collaboration with inpatient leadership to integrate services and achieve outcomes. The VP will exercise management responsibility over the Ambulatory Services ensuring efficient services that are designed to meet the needs of patients, physicians, the public and staff directly, or through delegation of responsibility to the management staff.

The VP will collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer as appropriate to assist with execution of the clinical mission.

* MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

**** EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
** 1. Master’s Degree in Business Administration is required with a focus in Finance, Accounting, or related field or Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration.
** EXPERIENCE**:1. 7 years’ related experience with a minimum of four years of executive or leadership experience in a health care setting.

** 1. Experience in a multi-specialty group practice plan.
2. Experience in physicians contracting, negotiations, and compensation metrics.
