Customer Service Advisor Float - Morgantown Administration
Location:
Multiple Locations. This position is 100% in office. The employee will work full time in an office in a designated Wes Banco location. Consideration for location will be Gihon Village and will float to Barlow, Marietta, Mineral Wells, Market Street, Ravenswood and Vienna Banking Centers.
37.5 hours per week
Requirements- High school diploma or GED required.
- Banking, cash handling, sales, and customer service experience preferred.
Summary: Helps foster a positive work environment that inspires, motivates, challenges, supports and provides ongoing recognition for exceptional performance. Customer Service Advisor's (CSA) are charged with providing excellent customer service while identifying sales opportunities and performing account transactions. CSA's must be responsive by recognizing the immediate need of the Banking Center throughout the day and proactively providing both Customer Service Representative (CSR) and sales platform support as needed.
The CSA is responsible for consumer and business relationship building efforts and focusing on daily sales initiatives. From an operational standpoint, the CSA is responsible to comply with all established Bank policies, procedures, and security measures. Responsibilities include operating as a CSR and/or providing necessary additional support of the banking center's sales and operational objectives as assigned.

- Effectively assesses the financial needs of Banking Center clients and recommends suitable solutions.
- Accepts and accurately processes all financial service transactions.
- Responsible for CSR cash drawer and follows proper balancing and cash handling procedures.
- Complies and operates within security and audit procedures.
- Consistently meets and exceeds defined sales goals for loans, deposits, partner referrals and profitability.
- Promotes the sales culture within the banking center and reaches individual and team sales goals.
- Communicates and partners effectively with branch staff and peers to promote a team environment.
- Continuously monitors performance against banking center goals and adjusts as needed.
- Executes outbound calling activities and promotes bank products with appropriate referrals.
- Educates team on opportunities to advance customers' financial wellness.
- Sets priorities and follows through on defined sales and service activities.
- Promotes company products and services in the community to support growth.
- Supports day-to-day operations including customer service, opening/closing procedures, vault duties, cash controls, inventory, audit and compliance requirements.
- Participates in regular sales and staff meetings.
- Provides service to customers on banking matters and resolves issues professionally.
- Builds relationships with internal partners and seeks constructive feedback.
- Demonstrates sound judgment and follows established guidelines and procedures.
- Maintains security controls to protect against risks and protects customer information.
- Maintains a position of trust and keeps sensitive information confidential.
- Contributes in a team environment to service customer needs and supports additional duties as needed.
- Cross-trained and expected to assist with operational duties.
- Banking is a highly regulated industry; maintain proficiency in policies and procedures and complete compliance training timely.
- Willing to register and maintain registry with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) per SAFE Act requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook 365 and banking software; strong computer skills.
- Strong consumer lending skills preferred with understanding of consumer lending products.
- Ability to generate new financial relationships through outbound calling and internal development.
- Ability to interact effectively with customers and clearly express concepts verbally and in writing.
- Strong product knowledge and ability to promote bank products.
- Ability to interpret various instructions and maintain organizational skills; multi-task as needed.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Must be available to work all hours of operations.
