Position Overview:

A full-time non-invasive cardiologist is sought to join a collaborative and academically affiliated heart and vascular program in Parkersburg, WV. This faculty position offers teaching, clinical, and research opportunities, with academic rank based on experience and qualifications.

Position Highlights:

General non-invasive cardiology practice with a focus on advanced imaging

Involvement in teaching medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows

Opportunities to participate in clinical research

Part of a multidisciplinary team including interventional cardiologists, surgeons, radiologists, and vascular specialists

Academic environment focused on advanced medicine and quality outcomes

Travel to additional affiliated sites in WV, OH, PA, VA, and MD may be required based on operational needs

Qualifications:

MD or DO (or foreign equivalent)
Board certified in Internal Medicine Board certified or eligible in Cardiovascular Disease Additional certification (or intent to certify) in imaging modalities such as echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, and/or MRI Eligible for medical licensure in West Virginia All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment
