Project Construction Analyst (Parkersburg, WV) General Purpose
The Project Construction Analyst position is responsible for managing, tracking, and maintaining all project‑related documents and records to ensure compliance, accuracy, and accessibility throughout the construction project lifecycle. This role ensures that all stakeholders have the latest and correct documentation, helping projects run smoothly, on time, and in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDocument Distribution and Coordination
- Receive, log, track, and distribute incoming and outgoing project documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and correspondence.
- Maintain the project document management system (DMS) or common data environment (CDE) such as Aconex, Procore, Viewpoint, or similar platforms.
- Ensure proper version control of all project documents, ensuring outdated versions are archived and only the latest revisions are in use.
- Organize and maintain digital and hard copy filing systems for ease of retrieval and compliance with project standards.
- Assist in the development of Installation Work Packages.
- Support the project as assigned by the Construction Manager.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely distribution of documents.
- Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to obtain necessary documentation within specified deadlines.
- Ensure that project documentation meets company, client, and industry quality standards.
- Track and monitor document review and approval workflows to ensure timely responses.
- Maintain accurate records for audits, inspections, and contractual obligations.
- Prepare document control reports, registers, and status updates for project management.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred).
- 2–5 years of project or administrative experience in a construction or engineering environment.
- Proficiency in document management systems (e.g., Aconex, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, SharePoint).
- Project Sight experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with construction drawings, technical terminology, and project workflows.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
Site-based with occasional field visits depending on project needs. May require extended working hours to meet project deadlines.
