Purpose Statement of Crossroads Community Church
Crossroads Community Church seeks to transform lives through loving relationships with God, each other, and those who do not know Jesus yet.
Position Summary
As part of the facilities management team, assist in overseeing and providing facility oversight for the Crossroads Community Church campus, as well as shepherding and guiding our facility volunteer teams.
General Qualifications
Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Holy Spirit.Wholeheartedly agrees with the Crossroads Community Church purpose, values, priorities, mission, bylaws, and lives a lifestyle appropriate to a person in Christian ministry.For ministry staff positions, the staff member is willing to be a part of Crossroads Community Church and to regularly and consistently attend the weekend worship services and participating in the life of the church.Has demonstrated skills in relating to and working with people, especially volunteers, church staff, the congregation and others, within a team environment.The staff member agrees to abide by the staff handbook and sign the Crossroads Statement of Faith.Must pass the pre-employment test (if applicable), including passing the Crossroads background screening.Position Qualifications/Specifications
Minimum/
Preferred Experience:
At least 2 years of facility management experience; 10+ preferred

Employment Status:
Part time; approximately 20 hours per week
Work Schedule:
Routine hours: 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday
Alternating hours:
Every other Saturday evening 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm and Sunday morning 8:00 am to 12:30 pm
Additional hours on an as needed basis.

Specific Responsibilities, Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Perform, or supervise the performance, of room set‑ups and tear‑downs, including emptying trash and room clean up, are completed on a timely basis daily/weekly for all ministry events in a manner consistent with the value of excellenceBecome familiar with our preferred outsourced vendors and establish relationships with them reflecting Crossroads’ values.Serve as backup to the primary facilities staff person as needed.Proactively ensure the entire church campus (inside and outside) reflects the church’s values, especially the value of excellence, to our community and congregation, as well as responding to facility needs from our staff and volunteers.Assist with necessary heating and cooling of the building is done effectively and efficiently using both manual and computerized systems.Assist with campus security utilizing a key management, access control, and camera systems.Assist with, or coordinate, the setting up, tearing down, storing, and maintaining the baptismal as needed.Be available to respond to urgent facility needs and/or emergencies, as needed.If needed, perform light cleaning of restrooms prior to, and between, weekend worship services.Assist with snow removal personally as needed to ensure safe walking surfaces.Serve as on‑site facilities personnel for weekend worship services as needed.Oversee security cameras system including maintenance, repair, replacements, installations and removals effectively utilizing outside vendor(s) as needed or directed.Pickup and remove trash or other debris in parking and landscaping areasAny other tasks or duties as assigned by the supervisor.The duties and responsibilities included in this description are not intended to be all‑inclusive, and the individual is expected to perform other job‑related duties as assigned by the Crossroads Leadership Council as required.
