Position: Service Advisor / Writer

Bobcat of the Rockies is a full-service Bobcat dealership. We sell and rent new and used Bobcat compact equipment. Our dealerships also provide parts, in-house service, and field service, with the addition of construction and building materials. Bobcat of the Rockies - Parker is seeking a Service Writer/Advisor to join our busy dealership. Successful candidates will have strong organization skills, great customer service, and a willingness to learn our business.

Monday-Friday work week / Day Shift

Guaranteed Hourly Wage Position - No More Flat Rate! $25-30/hour plus bonus, negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule all service work and provide supervision of administration and warranty
  • Take all service requests from salesmen and customers as a service writer
  • Open, close, and manage all service tickets.
  • Understanding of the billing process
  • Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate department
  • Communicate with Parts Department and Warehouse team for technician parts needs
  • Verify parts are entered properly on service orders
  • Assist the service manager in meeting department goals as needed
  • Greet customers and assist with unloading/loading machines
  • Communicate effectively to customers regarding technician’s findings
  • Assist with assigning jobs to technicians
  • Maintain awareness of job status and time requirements of all jobs in the shop in order to communicate appropriate timelines of repairs with service team and customers
  • Proactively communicate with customers when repairs will take longer than originally quoted and/or if more issues have arisen in the repair process
  • Always operate in and maintain a safe work environment; obey safety rules and wear required safety PPE
  • Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Positive outlook and excellent communication, both verbal and written
  • Excel in a high volume fast paced environment
  • Excellent customer relations skills
  • Good computer and systems knowledge
  • Experience with construction or ag equipment preferred
  • Familiarity with the inner workings of a service drive
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen
  • Valid driver's license in good standing is preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Physical Requirements
  • Occasionally lifting /carrying up to 10 pounds or pushing/pulling small objects
  • Physically able to operate construction equipment and forklifts
  • Physically able to operate a variety of automated office machines including a computer, printer, facsimile machine, copy machine, calculator, telephone, etc. on a repetitive basis
  • Occasionally exposed to weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and lift.
