Position: High School Ministry Resident (or Intern)

Definition of Crossroads' Ministry Residency and Intern Program

The Residency/Intern Program is an internship for college and/or seminary students which contains the following elements:

  • The ministry training is similar to that which is available in and through education for future clergy;
  • The training is for the benefit of the trainee;
  • The trainee is not a replacement for a regular employee, but works under close observation;
  • This program is considered to be of greater value to the trainee than to the church;
  • Trainees are not necessarily entitled to a job at the conclusion of the program;
  • Trainees serve one semester at a time with an option to serve additional semesters if invited by Crossroads.

Note:

This position is posted with Intern hourly rate but may be filled as a Resident for the right candidate. Compensation, including tuition needs, will be discussed if the applicant is attending seminary.
