Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Afternoon Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Duties- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans focused on literacy, math, and overall curriculum development tailored to early childhood education standards
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping children develop social skills through engaging activities
- Help supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and other routines to ensure safety and well‑being
- Facilitate age‑appropriate activities that promote childhood development, including toddler care, preschool exercises, and Montessori‑inspired methods
- Work with children with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities, providing individualized support as needed
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with parents and team members about children’s progress and classroom events
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles such as Montessori methods or behavior management techniques
- Experience with lesson planning for young learners across literacy, math, and developmental milestones
- Familiarity with working with children with special needs or disabilities to support inclusive learning environments
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families
- Classroom experience managing young children in a structured yet flexible setting
- Demonstrated ability to implement curriculum development strategies that foster growth in early childhood stages
