Schedule Details/Additional Information: Full-time position, 7P-7A, Three 12 hour shifts, rotating holidays and weekends

Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro Critical Care Unit

Location: Park Ridge, IL

Position: Full time; 7p-7a

Where You Will Work
  • 16-bed Neuro Critical Care Unit providing specialized nursing care for a wide scope of neuro surgical and medical critical care patient populations. Diagnoses can include ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes s/p TPA, clot retrieval, aneurysm coiling, spine patients, brain tumors/craniotomies, seizures. The unit is designed for nurses who want to specialize in neuroscience/stroke healing. The Neuro ICU has a dedicated Neuro Intensivist.

    EICU 24/7 telemonitoring support.
What We’re Looking For
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Illinois
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferably in Critical Care or minimum 1-year nursing experience in surgical telemetry or neuro unit
  • New Grad with NCLEX test date or RN License may be considered
What You’ll Do
  • Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and effective communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
