Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The Role
Lakeside Bank is seeking a seasoned and motivated Compliance Officer to join our growing team. This is a highly visible, hands‑on role that partners closely with leadership and business units across the bank to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
The ideal candidate brings strong regulatory knowledge, practical judgment, and a collaborative mindset—someone who enjoys being actively involved in the business while helping shape and strengthen a culture of compliance.
What You’ll DoAs Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in protecting the bank and supporting sustainable growth by:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining the bank’s enterprise‑wide compliance programs
- Conducting risk assessments, compliance testing, and audits to proactively identify and mitigate risk
- Monitoring regulatory developments and ensuring timely implementation of new or revised requirements
- Providing practical guidance and training to business partners across the organization
- Investigating, documenting, and resolving compliance issues and customer complaints
- Preparing clear, concise compliance reports for senior management and regulatory agencies
- Serving as a trusted compliance resource across all functional areas of the bank
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- Strong working knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience across multiple compliance disciplines, including but not limited to:
- CRA, BSA
- Retail and Deposit regulations
- Reg E, Reg CC, Reg O
- Fair Lending, ECOA, TILA, RESPA, HMDA, FHA
- Flood Disaster Protection Act and USA PATRIOT Act
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse teams
- Professional certification such as CRCM or similar (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, law, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of compliance experience within the banking industry
This position may require occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds, including storage boxes or trays of checks.
Compensation & BenefitsThis is an exempt, officer‑level position
, with compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications. Officer level and compensation will be based on previous compliance experience.
Salary range: $58,000 – $120,000
