Ford Certified Diesel Technician

Karl Malone Ford Park City is looking for a Ford Certified Diesel Technician to join our busy service team. If you specialize in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing light-duty diesel trucks and take pride in doing the job right, we want to hear from you.

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair light-duty diesel vehicles to Ford factory standards
• Review repair orders, note customer concerns, and plan repair procedures accordingly
• Follow inspection checklists to ensure all critical components and safety systems are thoroughly evaluated
• Road-test vehicles before and after repairs to confirm quality and performance
• Document all work performed, warranty items, and parts used accurately on the repair order
• Stay current on Ford technical service bulletins (TSBs) and attend manufacturer training programs
• Return customer vehicles in clean, excellent condition
• Communicate clearly and professionally with service advisors and customers
• Support shop production goals and maintain dealership and manufacturer standards
• Keep a safe, clean, and organized work area at all times

• Ford Certification required
• Minimum 1 year of dealership or fleet diesel repair experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• ASE Certification strongly preferred
• CDL license a plus
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and mechanical skills
• Must provide own tools
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
