Summit Valley Glass is hiring a skilled Lead Glass Installer to help us maintain high standards across residential and light commercial projects.
We specialize in glass installation throughout Summit, Wasatch, and Salt Lake County, including windows, custom showers, mirrors, railings, and storefront systems.
This role is ideal for someone who can confidently run installs, take ownership of job sites, and represent the company professionally in high‑end homes and commercial environments. We are looking for someone who takes pride in clean work, attention to detail, and doing things the right way.

Responsibilities- Lead residential glass and light commercial/storefront installation projects, ensuring timely and quality execution
- Ensure proper waterproofing, flashing, and quality installation standards
- Read and execute work orders, measurements, and job specifications accurately
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, and team members
- Help guide and train helper installers when assigned
- Identify and communicate any job-site issues or changes promptly
- Complete basic job documentation (time tracking, material needs, checklists)
- Perform service calls, warranty work, and project adjustments as needed
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Follow all safety protocols and protect company tools, vehicles, and materials
- Perform heavy lifting safely during the handling and positioning of large or heavy glass panels
- Conduct site assessments to prepare surfaces for installation
- Represent Summit Valley Glass with professionalism and integrity
- 3+ years of experience in window and/or glass installation
- Experience with shower installations
- Strong understanding of flashing, waterproofing, and safe installation practices
- Ability to run residential installation projects independently
- Ability to take field measurements accurately
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and glazing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and finish quality
- Professional communication skills and customer‑facing experience
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work on ladders
- Familiarity with construction safety standards
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Experience leading a small crew or mentoring junior installers
- Experience with storefront and light commercial glazing systems
- Experience reviewing plans or job specifications
- Basic understanding of estimating or job costing
- OSHA certification, safety training, or willingness to obtain
