Finish Carpenter (Custom High-End Residential)

Tall Pines Construction – Park City, UT

About Tall Pines Construction

Tall Pines Construction is a premier builder of high-end custom residential homes in Park City and the surrounding areas. We take pride in our precision, our attention to detail, and our dedicated in-house team. We are currently seeking an experienced Finish Carpenter to join our elite finish crew and help us deliver the world-class quality our clients expect.

The Role

This position is for a craftsman who takes pride in the final details. You will be responsible for the finish of the home—the fine woodwork and finishes that define a custom luxury build. We are looking for a professional who can work independently with high efficiency or collaborate seamlessly with a team under the guidance of our Project Superintendents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Door Installations: Precision installation of high-quality pocket doors and swing doors.
  • Trim & Moldings: Installation of baseboards, crown molding, and sophisticated tongue-and-groove applications for walls and ceilings.
  • Custom Built-ins: Crafting and installing benches, built-in shelving, and high-end cabinetry components.
  • Exterior Finishes: Specialized decking and exterior finish work as required.
  • Collaboration: Working alongside other trades to ensure finish aspects are integrated perfectly; assisting Superintendents with final punch-list details.
  • Plan Proficiency: Ability to read, interpret, and strictly follow structural and designer plans.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of professional finish carpentry experience, preferably in the high-end residential sector.
  • Skill Set: Master-level proficiency with finish tools and woodworking techniques.
  • Mindset: A strong eye for detail, a clean work style, and a positive, "lead-by-example" attitude.
  • Independence: Proven ability to manage tasks efficiently without constant supervision.
Compensation & Benefits

We offer a top-tier package to match the skill level required for this role:

  • Health Insurance (Available after a 90-day probationary period)
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan (Available after 6 months of employment)
  • Fuel & Mileage: Paid fuel and mileage reimbursement.
  • Steady, Premium Work: Consistent year-round work on some of the most prestigious properties in Utah.
