The Sales Associate is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience. The role also includes a variety of operational duties as assigned by store management, such as housekeeping, visual presentation standards, and other related tasks.

• Reports To: Store Management

• Greeting Customers:
  Greet customers with a smile and a sincere non‑business greeting.
• First Impressions:
  Create a positive first impression through an energetic attitude and adherence to dress code.
• Store Standards:
  Maintain a sparkling clean and organized environment in line with store standards.
• Product Information:
  Provide customers with current, relevant product information.
• Fitting Room Service:
  Offer quality service in fitting rooms, follow up with customers timely, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and attempt to add on to the sale.
• Cash Wrap Efficiency:
  Provide efficient service at the cash wrap, offer gift cards, maintain wrap cleanliness, and capture customer information in the database.
• Customer Appreciation:
  Thank all customers sincerely for shopping at GUESS as they exit the store.

• Task Completion:
  Complete all duties assigned by management satisfactorily.
• Punctuality:
  Arrive on time and adhere to the designated work schedule.
• Teamwork:
  Work flexibly and well with peers and management to accomplish duties.
• Policy Adherence:
  Follow GUESS policies and procedures 100%.
• Housekeeping:
  Perform housekeeping duties as required.

• Sales Goals:
  Meet or exceed the sales per hour (SPH) target set by management.

• Meetings and Functions:
  Participate in and attend all store meetings and related functions.
• Positive Attitude:
  Represent a positive attitude toward merchandise and the company.
• Inventory Participation:
  Participate in all inventories.
• Additional Duties:
  Assume and complete other duties as assigned by store management.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Ability to lift over 30 pounds, stand for at least eight hours, and perform bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and balancing as needed.

  Previous retail experience preferred.
