The
** Barista
* * is an essential member of Woodward Park City's Food and Beverage team, reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager. The successful applicant assists in fulfilling beverage orders, preparing food, and cashiering, strongly emphasizing creating memorable guest experiences.

* Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

*** Assist in front-line guest service, beverage fulfillment, food preparation, and cashiering in our front-of-house areas, including the Cafe, Cafeteria, Subie Shack, and other pop-up locations.
* Understand and comply with Utah DABC regulations.
* Provide next-level guest experiences and satisfaction.
* Maintain facilities and cleanliness standards.
* Ensure a high level of engagement every day.
* Create and maintain a culture of safety in all areas of the operation.
* Be proactive, adjust to fluctuations in guest counts, and work calmly in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and learn new skills.
* Other duties as assigned.
** Basic Requirements:
*** Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.
* Minimum Age Requirement: 21 years old.
* Food Handler's Certification preferred.
* Valid Utah Alcohol Server Certification preferred.
* DABC Manager Certification is highly preferred.
* Comfortable working in an all-season environment.
* Comfortable preparing and selling food as well as alcoholic beverages.
* Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
* Due to the sensitive nature of this position, a criminal background check will be conducted after the position is accepted.
** Preferred

Skills and Experience:

*** The barista experience is highly preferred.
* Experience serving alcohol in a restaurant setting is highly preferred.
* Point of sale guest service and transaction experience required.
* Proficiency working in espresso-based beverage service preferred.
* Proficiency in high-volume operations is a plus.
* Ability to collaborate well across functions and departments and work as a team.
