Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing laboratory procedures.
  • Serve as a mentor and leader, guiding the medical team, ensuring efficient workflow, and supporting staff development.
  • Act as the primary client contact, educating owners, reviewing medical records, and answering questions with confidence.
  • Contribute to a positive culture through training, feedback, and maintaining high standards of the hospital environment.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an AVMA‑accredited Veterinary Technician program.
  • Valid state veterinary technician license (CVT) in good standing.
  • Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
  • Calm, efficient approach in fast‑paced or stressful situations.
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
  • Preferred:
    One year of experience in the veterinary industry.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds. Routine exposure to animals and medical equipment in a noisy environment.
