As a Senior Project Manager at Risher Martin
, you will have full ownership of high-caliber architect-driven custom home builds and renovations
, serving as the primary leader responsible for execution, communication, and results. You will collaborate with trade partners, architects, designers, and clients through every phase of construction—ensuring that drawings, schedules, budgets, and finishes align flawlessly with Risher Martin's uncompromising standards. This role demands mastery of detail, exceptional leadership presence, and the ability to anticipate and eliminate risk before it impacts the client experience.

- Own and manage full project life cycles from pre-construction handoff through final completion.
- Develop and maintain master schedules, Gantt charts, and two-week lookaheads.
- Lead Change Orders, RFIs, submittals, samples, mockups, and field execution with precision.
- Maintain full budget accountability: bid approvals, committed cost tracking, contingency management, and invoice/PO variance reviews.
- Coordinate shop drawings, materials, and high-end trade partners to ensure exact execution per plan and specification.
- Conduct rigorous Quality Control walks at all critical phases to uphold luxury-level standards.
- Lead client and design team punch walks with a "Zero Punch List" mindset.
- Ensure seamless project transition to Home Care with complete documentation and closeout discipline.
- Lead weekly client and design team meetings—set agendas, drive decisions, track action items, and communicate clearly.
You are a seasoned luxury residential construction professional who commands complex projects with calm authority. You lead with humility, precision, and confidence. You are equally comfortable in front of discerning clients, architects, and elite trade partners. You anticipate issues before they surface, communicate proactively, and never lose sight of the standards that define exceptional custom homes—craftsmanship, predictability, and trust.
Strict Qualifications (Required)- 7-10+ years of direct experience managing luxury custom home construction (ground-up and/or high-end renovations).
- Demonstrated experience delivering high-value, design-driven homes for discerning clients.
- Proven success managing complex schedules, budgets, and elite trade partners.
- Advanced understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, and luxury construction methods.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills in a process-driven environment.
- Proficiency with construction management and cloud-based project systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field preferred.
Note: Candidates without verifiable luxury custom home experience will not be considered.
Compensation & Benefits- Salary: $150,000 - $165,000 (commensurate with experience)
