Maintenance Technician - Founders Place

We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to help ensure our property systems, buildings, and amenities operate at the highest standards. This role plays a key part in creating a safe, comfortable, and beautifully maintained environment for our owners and guests — while offering excellent opportunities for career growth within a world‑class hospitality organization.

• Inspect and evaluate systems, machines, and equipment (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, ventilation, irrigation, etc.) to ensure proper functioning and identify potential problems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs across building systems, utilities, and grounds.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues efficiently using available tools, materials, and independent research to determine the best solutions.
• Install, maintain, and upgrade mechanical and electrical systems as needed to improve safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
• Utilize preventive maintenance software to track repairs, schedule inspections, and ensure consistent maintenance practices.
• Communicate effectively with management, front desk staff, and the Director of Engineering regarding maintenance issues and project status.
• Make informed recommendations for updates or system improvements that enhance operations and guest experience.

$23–27/hour DOE

Varies, may include evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Strong technical, mechanical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow safety procedures.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (such as BAS).
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Physical stamina to handle tasks such as lifting, climbing, and working in varied conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

One of the following:

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Engineering, Facilities Maintenance, or related field; or
• Certificate from a trade school or technical college with 3–6 months related experience and/or training; or
• Licensed Plumber or Licensed HVAC Technician

Proven experience troubleshooting using available materials and independent research.
