We are seeking an accomplished and gracious Chief Concierge to lead our Concierge team; a custodian of local knowledge, a mentor to talent, and a quiet force behind unforgettable guest journeys. This is a role for someone who understands that true luxury is not loud, but deeply personal.

About the Role

As Chief Concierge, you are the heartbeat of the guest experience beyond the room. You will lead with presence and purpose, ensuring every interaction reflects the Park Hyatt promise while nurturing a culture of collaboration, creativity and excellence. You set the tone for service that is both refined and personable, anticipatory yet sincere.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading and inspiring the Concierge team to deliver consistently exceptional, polished and intuitive service
  • Acting as a welcoming presence for guests, building immediate rapport and lasting trust
  • Creating bespoke recommendations through an exceptional understanding of Sydney’s culture, dining, events and hidden gems
  • Managing guest requests, correspondence, and bookings with discretion, efficiency, and warmth
  • Serving as a key point of contact for VIPs, group arrivals, and special occasions
  • Liaising seamlessly with internal departments to ensure flawless guest journeys
  • Supporting on-site events, including weddings and corporate meetings, with calm coordination
  • Demonstrating operational fluency across Guest Services, including porterage, valet, in-room dining, and butler service
  • Leading service recovery with empathy and professionalism
  • Maintaining accurate records, reports, and operational logs in line with hotel standards
  • Encouraging creativity and recognising contributions that elevate the guest experience and the team culture
Qualifications

To be considered for the role, you possess the following:

Poised, perceptive and deeply passionate about hospitality. You lead by example and believe that great service begins with empowered people.

Previous experience as a Chief Concierge or Assistant Chief Concierge within a luxury or five-star environment.

Holding Les Clefs d’Or (Union Internationale des Concierges d’Hôtels) keys is highly desirable, reflecting a commitment to the highest international standards of concierge excellence and professional integrity.

An exceptional knowledge of Sydney and its surrounds, with the ability to personalise every recommendation.

Impeccable presentation and professional presence.

Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence.

A natural leadership style that supports development and growth.

Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.

Advanced organisational and computer skills.

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

A valid visa to work in Australia.
