Job Description

Step into the realm of culinary excellence as a key player in our kitchen brigade. As a Culinary Artisan, you will help curate an unforgettable dining experience and leave a mark on our patrons’ palates.

Responsibilities

  • Work independently in the kitchen, including pantry and banquet positions, as needed with business demands.
  • Assist other team members with mentorship and training, as well as daily prep and technique guidance.
  • Work with the chef on specialty dinners and functions with minimal supervision.
  • Assist with all food ordering needs under the chef’s guidance.
  • Set and operate a specific station daily with accountability to meet property standards and expectations.
  • Produce checklists daily for station production, operations, and cleaning needs.
  • Produce and taste all items for the respective section, ensuring quality and quantity standards.
  • Report discrepancies and follow up to ensure timely solutions; address discrepancies to a definitive conclusion with final approval by MOD.
  • Track inventory usage and relay necessary orders daily; report discrepancies and potential solutions immediately.
  • Maintain compliance with state sanitation/health regulations and resort requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of equipment maintenance and use, operating tools safely and as intended.

Qualifications

  • Formal training or education in culinary arts is preferred, but not required.
  • One to three years of cooking experience preferred.
  • Strong focus on precision and detail to ensure consistency and high-quality execution.
