• Certified Officers: $10,000 hiring incentive
• Non-Certified Officers: $3,000 hiring incentive (with academy sponsorship at KLETC)

Certified Officers (Based on Experience):

• $29.29 – $31.55/hour (2–5 years)
• $31.55 – $33.14/hour (5–7 years)
• $33.14 – $35.69/hour (7–10+ years)

Non-Certified Officers:

• Base Starting Pay: $26.63/hour
• Additional Pay
  
  Incentives:
• +2% for prior military experience
• +1% for Associate’s Degree
• +1% for Bachelor’s Degree
