The Manager in Training is responsible for assisting the Store Manager andҳур Assistant Store Manager regarding overall operations and administrative duties. The Manager in Training is knowledgeable in each product area or department in our store, assists in determining approaches to accomplish store goals and initiatives, and upholds policies, procedures,arder standards listed in the visual manual. The Manager must fully promote each sale or promotion, serves as an ambassador of Hibbett, and creates a unique customer experience that helps acquire and retain long‑time customers.

The role is passionate about outstanding customer service and promotion of merchandise, and it includes assuming supervisory control in the Store Manager’s absence and being trained in Manager responsibilities.

• Assist Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager in controlling assets of Hibbett.
• Consult to establish action plans that accomplish departmental and overall store responsibilities such as selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume responsibility for the entire store in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments when necessary.
• Maintain awareness of inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability in all departments.
• Direct staff to ensure each department’s responsibilities and standards are completed.
• Keep the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Assure quality customer service is maintained.
• Perform general administrative duties and be trained in the Store Manager’s responsibilities.
• Provide extraordinary customer service highlighted in the customer service manual, including greeting customers, assisting during peak periods, and helping multiple customers.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise provided by Hibbett.
• Practice and uphold all Hibbett policies, procedures, and standards as listed in the operational, personnel, visual, and customer service manuals, and corresponding memos.
• Protect company assets and financial information by ensuring accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and notifying management of potential fraud risks.

• Supervise employees in the absence of the Store Manager, carrying out duties in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Interview, train employees, plan, assign, and direct work, and resolve problems.

• Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and maintain overall goals and .
• Self‑starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability piemē handle multiple tasks simultaneously with precision.
