WE ARE SEEKING FORKLIFT OPERATORS TO JOIN OUR TEAM!

PAYRATE:$15/hr

SHIFT WORK SCHEDULE:7am - 3:30pm | Monday-Friday

JOB SUMMARY:
Drives gasoline, liquefied gas or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices including but not limited to forks, clamps or slipsheet attachment to lift truck, or move products or materials by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform basic daily preventive maintenance checks and complete required documentation

Exchange or charge batteries for electric lifts and refill and/or replace fuel tanks as required

Ensure trailers are secured to the facility prior to loading or unloading

Inspect inbound and outbound trailers for acceptable condition and compliance with customer and food safety and quality requirements

Load & Unload palletized or floor loaded product from trailers, railcars or truck

Hand stack cases/bags etc. as required

Transport product to or from dock areas, storage areas, staging areas and packaging lines

Update warehouse management system using radio frequency scanning equipment

Manually record activities as necessary

Remove damage from unit loads as necessary to prevent shipping damage or contaminating other product

Perform physical inventories or cycle counts as directed by systems or supervisors

Apply labels, placards or stretch wrap to until loads as necessary

Insert dunnage or airbags into trucks to secure shipping loads as necessary

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED or Pass basic skills testing; and one to three years related experience.
