- Assists Procurement Coordinator with all activities related to procurement of a commodity beginning with intent to purchase through delivery
- Analyzes the requirements of the commodity including the preliminary specifications, preferred supplier and date commodity is needed.
- Utilizes Global Shop to enter purchase orders, run automated purchasing, create/amend inventory part numbers, and enter/update costs on appropriate part numbers as required.
- Makes calls as required to vendors for follow up on status of orders in the system.
- Six months to one year related experience
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
- Detail-oriented and organized
