Responsibilities

Below is a high-level overview; detailed responsibilities will be discussed during interviews:

  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and health information management standards.
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake.
  • Perform nursing duties such as measuring vital signs, drawing blood, administering injections, and other clinical tasks.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient conditions, ensuring safety and comfort during X-Ray scans.
  • Operate or oversee X-Ray equipment to produce diagnostic images.
  • Explain procedures to patients and ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Ensure imaging equipment is functioning properly.
  • Maintain supplies and equipment.
  • Assist patients using Virtual Medicine Providers.
  • Complete and forward patient charts accurately and timely.
  • Adhere to core values: teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality care, friendliness.
  • Maintain positive relations with clients and colleagues, fostering a friendly work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements for Centers of Excellence
  • Complete preceptor training for onboarding and training new hires.
  • Engage with Learning and Development for onboarding and training plans.
  • Welcome new employees, conduct facility tours, and overview clinic processes.
  • Establish and review training schedules and progress with trainees.
  • Submit weekly evaluations and final proficiency assessments.
Experience and Education
  • At least 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist, preferably in a clinic or Urgent Care setting.
  • For Indiana residents: a State License and ARRT proof are required.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent. License:
Full Scope X-Ray Technologist License.
