This position coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient advocate and works as part of a team with ancillary and non‑nursing departments.

• Assess the patient’s condition and nursing care needs
• Set goals and prescribe appropriate nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological, social and rehabilitative needs of patients
• Develop individual nursing care plans
• Implement care plans and make revisions as needed
• Evaluate patient care outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians and other hospital employees
• Administer medications, treatments and therapies
• Communicate with patients and oversee provision of care

• Associates Degree in Nursing (required)
• KY RN state licensure or compact licensure (required)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
