Malone Staffing Solutions is seeking reliable, multi-skilled candidates for Heat Treat Operator positions with a trusted manufacturer of high-quality aluminum and steel wheels supplying leading automotive brands in Paris, KY.
Heat Treat Operator Benefits:
Compensation: $18.00/hour
Position Type:
Temporary to full-time hire position
Schedule:
Second shift:
Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Third shift:
Monday - Friday, 11:30 PM - 8:00 AM (+ $1.00 shift differential)
Overtime:
Mandatory and/or optional

Paris, KY

Heat Treat Operator Duties:
* Monitor, operate, and control heat treat equipment to ensure proper processing of aluminum and steel components in accordance with production specifications and quality standards
* Perform routine hardness testing on processed parts using calibrated hardness testing equipment, accurately recording and verifying results
* Inspect parts during and after the heat treat process to identify defects, inconsistencies, or non-conforming materials, and report findings to supervision
* Offload, handle, and stage parts safely and efficiently throughout the production process, ensuring proper material flow
* Operate material handling equipment, including Gorbel cranes, to move parts and maintain safe work practices
* Use air buffers and other hand tools to assist with finishing or preparation of parts as required
* Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and quality guidelines related to heat treat operations
* Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with basic equipment checks or preventative maintenance as assigned
Heat Treat Operator Skill & Education Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
* Valid driver's license required
* Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
* Strong motor skills with good hand, eye, and foot coordination
* Ability to accurately distinguish and identify colors
* Capable of meeting the physical demands of the position
* Reliable attendance and ability to meet established scheduling requirements
