• Nursing license required by state.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Compliance with the state’s Health Care Worker Background Check requirements.
• Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and visitors.
• Ability to undertake diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.

• Direct day-to-day activities of nursing assistants.
• Complete required record keeping upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer; chart and document per facility policy.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physician and perform other drug administration functions per established policies.
• Make daily rounds of unit and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
