We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department. This is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring the highest standards of clinical care while fostering a supportive and collaborative team culture.

• Current Illinois RN license in good standing
• At least 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience, preferably in Long-Term Care
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Solid understanding of nursing best practices, healthcare regulations, HR management, and quality assurance

• Oversee daily nursing operations to ensure excellence in resident care
• Lead and inspire nursing staff in alignment with facility policies and state regulations
• Promote a compassionate, resident-centered care environment
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans
• Coordinate staff assignments and ensure adequate shift coverage
• Maintain accurate records for admissions, transfers, and resident updates
• Receive and transcribe physician orders accurately and promptly
• Support compliance initiatives and assist with surveys or inspections
• Champion continuous quality improvement and staff development
