Position Overview:

We are seeking a local Commercial Rooftop Solar Electricians to join our team to install commercial rooftop solar projects in Paramus, NJ. This crew works exclusively on commercial rooftop systems with a project focus on 800kW-2MW installations.

Start: ASAP (Temp to Permanent position)

Pay Rate: $27.00 $ 35.00 HR

Responsibilities:

• Install and terminate PV electrical components including:
• Conduit, wire pulls, and cable management
• Combiner boxes, inverters, and disconnects
• AC/DC electrical runs and terminations
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, single line diagrams, and plans
• Support commissioning and troubleshooting as needed
• Ensure all work meets NEC and local code requirements
• Maintain clean, safe jobsite practices and follow all safety protocols
• Work efficiently as part of a commercial rooftop crew
• Utilize appropriate hand tools (i.e., crescent wrench, pliers, hammer, screwdriver) and power tools (i.e., drills, impact wrenches) to install systems per codes and standards using drawings, schematics, and instructions.
• Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3.5 years of electrical experience
• Commercial rooftop solar experience REQUIRED
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
