We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with a strong background in multi‑family residential maintenance. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for common area and apartment repairs in the scope of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and appliances. The role encompasses all aspects of the property’s maintenance, including physical grounds, curb appeal through interior and exterior building inspections, grounds maintenance, and preventive maintenance.

The successful candidate will be placed at our luxurious property located in Paramus, NJ.

• Efficiently complete all daily work orders within 24 hours. Communicate any delays in completing a work order with the supervisor and management office.
• Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues involving electrical, plumbing, A/C, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry.
• Work with leasing staff to ensure all make‑ready repairs and services are completed and on schedule.
• Respond to after‑hours on‑call emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records for preventive maintenance, building mechanicals, service requests, and apartment make‑ready status.
• Stay current on all applicable building codes and safety standards.
• Assist with trash removal and maintain trash rooms and dumpster areas.
• Assist in the proper clearing of snow during a snow event.
• Coordinate proper workshop inventory with maintenance supervisor.

• High School or GED education.
• 1–3 years of direct experience as a Maintenance Technician or related field.
• Reliable transportation and ability to respond to on‑call emergencies at the property.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance maintenance, and snow removal.
• Exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
• Professional, courteous, and friendly demeanor with a customer‑first attitude.
• Proactive self‑starter and team player.
• Availability for weekend inspections and weekday evening resident meetings, as necessary.
• Professional communication with residents and staff.
