SummaryOur Stockroom Operations Leads are critical to the success of our stores. As a Stock Lead, you’re the primary business owner of the stockroom, overseeing processing, product placement, and transfers. You model exceptional stockroom standards and promote a positive, respectful environment, partnering closely with the Store Manager to train Associates and empower the team.
Responsibilities- Maintain the stockroom area where all materials and products are received, stored, organized, picked, counted, monitored, and distributed to meet store needs.
- Keep the stockroom and stock desk neat, orderly, and safe, promoting security measures to deter theft.
- Ensure all stock processes and policies are understood and followed by team members at all times.
- Strategically plan for new product arrivals and execute necessary adjustments.
- Receive and verify shipments, handling discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory counts.
- Handle customer charge sends and store transfers of merchandise between retail locations or distribution centers.
- Control damaged or mis‑matched inventory in accordance with company standards.
- Assist the Store Manager in achieving and exceeding the store’s fiscal business plan by helping execute sales and productivity plans.
- Help replenish and display product on the sales floor, organized per Visual Merchandising standards.
- Provide excellent customer service: greet customers, direct them to appropriate products, answer questions, and offer current product knowledge.
- Maintain a positive, cheerful attitude with customers and team members, promoting the store and brand image in all interactions.
- Cooperate with the team to meet business needs and support overall store performance.
- Ensure the highest level of customer service possible as outlined in the Service Training Program.
- Build engaged and empowered teams through communication and recognition.
- Communicate effectively with customers, teammates, management, and corporate stakeholders.
- Promote a positive and respectful work environment and respond to problem situations with professionalism.
- Prioritize brand and product knowledge training in customer interactions.
- Multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Escalate any special customer requests regarding product or service to management.
- Think critically to solve problems and approach challenges with agility.
- Maintain knowledge of current trends and styles.
- One to two years of retail store experience preferred.
- High School Diploma.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to convey the HOKA and Deckers Brands Vision and Mission to team members and customers.
- Excellent team‑building skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Flexibility of schedule and hours to meet business needs.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools and applications.
- Valid driver’s license.
