The starting hourly rate is $18.50 USD per hour. The pay range is $18.50 USD – $27.75 USD per hour.

As an On‑Demand Team Member you will create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members. Reliable attendance and 4‑week engagement (minimum four hours) are required. If you do not work at least one shift within 5 months your employment may be administratively terminated.

Advocates of guest experience welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Engage with guests in a welcoming way to solve their specific needs.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the store.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently and accurately.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Make guests aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events.
• Promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign‑up.
• Help guests use Wallet and other features in the Target App.
• Attempt every return and follow register prompts.
• Partner with leaders to de‑escalate situations and recover the guest experience.
• Deliver accurate service to all Order Pick‑Up, Drive‑Up, and Registry guests.
• Maintain a clean, clutter‑free work area.
• Stock supplies during store open hours.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Support compliance with adult beverage laws and other regulations.
• Support Cash Office processes as needed.
• Perform all other duties as required.

• Accurately handle cash register operations and support cash office operations.
• Lift or move merchandise up to 10 lbs routinely and up to 44 lbs occasionally.
• Flexibility in picking up shifts on nights, weekends, holidays.
• Active engagement by picking up and working shifts and responding to contact attempts.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements.
• Remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
