Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown Cardiac position requiring post-cardiac catheterization groin management and NJ or compact licensure.

• Work in the Stepdown Cardiac unit as part of the hospital float pool
• Night shifts with a 3x12 hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Float required to the stepdown unit attached to cardiac telemetry within one facility only
• Every other weekend shifts required as needed
• Must care for post-cardiac catheterization patients
• Responsible for managing patients following cardiac catheterization procedures
• May provide care in both stepdown and cardiac telemetry settings as needed
• Floating is within a single facility only and does not involve other hospitals
• Local candidates are defined as residing within a 75-mile radius of the facility

• Active NJ or compact RN license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
• Experience with post cardiac catheterization groin management is required
• Ability to read cardiac telemetry strips and administer cardiac drips
• COVID vaccine and booster required with no exemptions
