The Board of Education is seeking applications for the  school year for the following position:

EDUCATIONAL INTERPRETER
(10 Months-Certificated)
HIP Hackensack, Union Street School for the Deaf

Qualifications:

New Jersey Educational Services certificate with Educational Interpreter - Sign Language Interpreting endorsement or eligible for New Jersey certification.

Educational Interpreter Proficiency Assessment (E.I.P.A.) score of 3.5 or more.

Must hold a High School diploma.

Experience with the Deaf Community and Culture - preferred.

New Jersey residence within one (1) year from date of hire.

Compensation Rate/Range: $56,145 - $61,145 - Interpreter Level I
$60,645 - $65,645 - Interpreter Level II
