Workforce Management Analyst

We are looking for an Application Specialist to join our team and keep our critical utility systems running smoothly. You will be the go-to expert for our Mobile Workforce Management (MWM) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between our field crews (the people fixing things in the street) and our IT team. If you understand how a utility company works and know how to fix database issues, this is the perfect fit.

• Keep Systems Running:
  Monitor the health of our MWM and EAM applications to ensure field crews and dispatchers can do their jobs without interruption.
• Fix Problems:
  Act as a Tier 2/3 support specialist. Troubleshoot issues reported by users, figure out what went wrong, and fix it.
• Work with Data:
  Write and run SQL queries to investigate data errors, validate information, and generate reports.
• Manage Changes:
  Help roll out software updates, configure settings, and ensure everything follows IT security rules (change control, access management).
• Support Integrations:
  Make sure data flows correctly between MWM/EAM and other systems (like metering or billing).
• Document Everything:
  Create "how-to" guides and runbooks so the team can solve issues faster next time.
• Help the Users:
  Assist with app installs on Windows PCs and iOS devices, and help train users on new features.

• Experience:
  
  5+ years working in or with a utility company (Electric, Gas, Water).

  Skills:
  
  Strong hands-on experience with SQL (Oracle or MS SQL Server).
• System Knowledge:
  You have worked with MWM (Mobile Workforce Management) or EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) systems before.
• Problem Solving:
  You enjoy puzzles—figuring out why a work order failed or why data isn't syncing.
• Communication:
  You can explain technical problems to non-technical field staff (and vice versa).

• Experience with IFS MWM, HxGN EAM, or Kloudgin.
• Knowledge of Metering/AMI systems (like Sensus, Itron).
• Familiarity with APIs, integrations, or scripting (Python/Power Shell).
• Experience with Service Now or ITIL processes.
