IT Sr Project Manager

THIS IS A W-2 ONLY HYBRID ROLE IN PARAMUS NJ

Our client is the global leader in optimized resource management. They have nearly 200,000 employees worldwide. The client designs and provides water, waste and energy management solutions which contribute to the sustainable development of communities and industries.

They are now looking to hire an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to prepare and manage the implementation of many strategic projects in the area of Utility Customer applications, as part of their Digital Transformation program.

The essence of the role is captured below

• The ideal candidate must have a PMP Certification (required)
• Have an Agile/Scrum Certification - or strong experience in transitioning a team from Waterfall to Agile
• Experience in managing large application implementation projects (we are not looking for folks who have worked in infrastructure upgrade projects such as data center moves)
• Hybrid Work mode - 2 days in office per week (required)

Very valued / differentiators:

• Experience with Utility / CX / CIS application projects is a big plus
• Well-organized resume (should come across as that of a well organized PM)
• Problem Solver / Adaptable to Company/PMO policies to follow

This is a contract position with the possibility of an extension or onboarding to a full-time position. It is a hybrid position (2-3 days onsite in Paramus, NJ).

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects that are strategic for our department, while leading system analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of these projects on time and within budget.
