JOB SUMMARY

The IT Provisioning Coordinator facilitates the on boarding of new team members, ensures that upon their start date they have the required access and equipment to Perform their jobs as defined in their Job Description s. Additionally, the role will also ensure that appropriate controls are in place in the event an employee transitions to a new position or leaves the organization.

The role will play an instrumental role in shaping the IT Asset Management Program. Must have a strong work ethic, self‑motivated, high energy and collaborative. To be successful in this role you will need to excel at multi‑tasking, managing challenging workload, and meeting quick deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain company policies and processes for on boarding and off boarding.
  • Develops and implement IT organization process for onboarding and off boarding personnel.
  • Develop and implement workflows and checklists to onboard new personnel using Role Based provisioning.
  • Work with respective leads to ensure, devices and accounts are appropriately provisioned.
  • Work with leadership to plan and implement IT hardware asset life cycle strategy and IT hardware acquisition.
  • Serve as IT hardware asset management subject matter expert.
  • Manage IT hardware asset portfolio with respect to risk, cost control, governance, compliance, and performance objectives.
  • Manage acquisition, deployment, utilization, tracking, security, and final disposition of IT assets.
  • Explore opportunities for maximizing or exploiting unused or partially used it assets to achieve full efficiency ROI from company resources.
  • Work with IT leadership on the creation of the asset management process.
  • Work with IT leadership in planning monitoring maintaining recording of all enterprise level agreements.
  • Ensure all software and hardware serial numbers or identification tags are maintained in a configuration management system and ensure information is up‑to‑date accurate auditable.
  • Perform inventories and usage monitoring of all it assets and record all findings changes physical location incidences of support.
  • Research industry best practices compare against the organization practices in order to establish benchmarks for managing it assets.
  • Work with IT Leadership to standardize equipment to lower total costs.
  • Manages software / hardware acquisitions compliance maintenance renewals life cycle planning costing.
  • Coordinating executing it asset management project related activities as required.
  • Support and maintain enterprise level server hardware and software to industry best practices.
  • Proactive monitoring of environments and identifying and document areas for improved efficiencies, cost reductions or improved availability. Work with IT leadership to develop implementation plan.
  • Ability to perform analysis for new system requests. Utilizes technical knowledge to ask relevant questions during systems analysis.
  • Performs all duties in accordance with company policies.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree (BA) or equivalent in a related field of study from a four‑year accredited college or university or five years information systems/network administration experience, including teaching or training in networking and software applications. Certifications required in Microsoft (MCSE and MCSA), Citrix, VMware.
Experience
  • Experience in Windows systems administration including Role based Access, Active Directory and Office 365. Ability to support user provisioning of accounts, network, workstation, phone system, etc., via remote support, phone support, and on‑site. Knowledge in telecommunications basic phone set operation/knowledge, phone set programming and installation, additionally assisting service issues and maintaining the IS Service Desk application. Ability to self‑start and prioritize, plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a very demanding environment.
