JOB SUMMARY
- Bachelors, or equivalent training or experience in healthcare.
- Assist with the process of implementing and supporting clinical/non clinical applications, including the requirements definition, designing systems, training users, testing, documenting and deploying applications.
- The candidate should have application experience in at least one of the following areas:
Radiology, Laboratory, Cariology or have experience with hospital financial applications. - Lead Application Deployments
- Provide training of applications pre/post deployment
- Continued process improvement
- Assist in provisioning users.
- Understands and demonstrates a basic working knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft 365 and TCP/IP.
- Must be able to appropriately troubleshoot issues, coordinate resolution and communicate to end users.
- Administration of system MACs (move, adds and changes) for multiple systems
- Documents equipment, software, customer and system faults and failures daily.
- Effectively interface with the vendors to resolve systems outages and deficiencies.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Assist with the process of implementing and supporting clinical applications, including the requirements definition, designing systems meeting requirements, testing and deploying applications.
- Responsible for taking applications live with staff, offering support services and coaching users within the organization in effective usage of hospital clinical and non-clinical systems.
- Lead and attend end-user meetings to determine application needs, requirements definition and documentation through the system life cycle.
- Confirm backend application settings, data management and associated process documentation are complete based on organizational needs.
- Research new versions of software, communicate new features to users; train users and document related process changes based on user feedback.
- Provide application support, troubleshoot with end-users, Vendors and developers.
- Work with other IS and hospital departments to design applications; required an understanding of organization workflows.
- Participate and present in multidisciplinary task forces, committees and projects.
- Continue professional development through reading, participation in seminars and optional trainings.
- Keep informed on direction and happenings in the healthcare industry and within the company.
