Study Startup Specialist - Clinical Trials

Position Summary

Coordinates project study startup activities inclusive of:
Confidentiality Agreements (CDA), feasibility (including internal vetting process), contract and budget negotiations and evaluation meetings for all studies.

Bachelor's degree required.

1-3 years clinical research experience at the site level and/or previous related health care or clinical work experience (e.g.: study coordinator). Previous technical and managerial experience in clinical trials in a hospital setting is preferred, but not required.

Experience or education indicating a sound basic knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Outstanding organizational, record retention, time management, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Ability to direct, lead, negotiate, and act as liaison between multi-disciplinary departments. Ability to develop, organize, and manage multiple tasks. Able to work independently and in a team environment, working well with others in high pressure situations.

Proficient in using computer and software systems (e.g. Microsoft Office). Ability to understand, interpret and explain medical research protocols. Excellent problem solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong commitment to quality. Customer oriented and flexible.

Pay Range: $27.94 - $34.93 (per hour)
