Overview

Care Plus NJ, Inc. ("Care Plus") is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides comprehensive, recovery-focused integrated primary care, mental health care, and substance abuse rehabilitation services. Our outpatient services are offered on a voluntary outpatient basis to adults and children at over 23 sites, including three outpatient centers (Paramus, Fair Lawn, and Hasbrouck Heights), ten residential facilities, offices at three local hospitals, and seven community offices located throughout Northern New Jersey.

Care Plus NJ offers a variety of internship opportunities to students pursuing careers in mental health and related degrees as part of our intern program. We review all internship candidate applications. We have limited intern placements and will place interns accordingly.

***** Please note that all considered interns will need to commit to one academic year (2 semesters) for placement and should reach out to us over one semester in advance for placements for the following year. We will be reviewing applicants for the upcoming Summer 2026, Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters at the end of February- early March 2026*****

Prospective intern must be currently enrolled in a related field of study at an accredited institution.
