Hourly: $21.86 – $63.00

Location: Westwood, Hillsdale, Fairlawn, Ridgewood, Park Ridge (between 10 group homes in Bergen County)

Schedules available: on‑site, part‑time shifts with varying pay rate and scheduling based on shift availability, client, and program needs.

• First shift: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
• Second shift: 4:00 pm – 12:00 am
• Third shift: 12:00 pm – 8:00 am

Ideal candidates can commit to one of the following weekend schedules:

• Saturday: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm
• Sunday: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm
• Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
• Saturday & Sunday: 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm

As a Mental Health Worker in our Residential Program you will supervise and support individuals suffering with severe and persistent mental illness in attending appointments, transporting to and from the group home, and refilling medication in our 24/7 residential facilities. You will coordinate program services, communicate observations and information about clients to appropriate staff, provide verbal counseling and crisis intervention services, and help develop Individual Recovery Plans.

• Prepare a complete written intake assessment which includes treatment plans, relevant, behaviorally‑measurable goals that serve as indexes for evaluating treatment progress, and realistic time frames for achievement.
• Perform ongoing assessment of consumers by exhibiting knowledge of age‑specific population, developmental level and diagnosis.
• Assist the consumers to meet their needs by working on established goals developed in the multidisciplinary treatment plan.
• Complete clinically based assessments at the end of a residential shift to ensure communication on the next shift or the following day.
• Help with the acquisition of transportation and safely transport consumers daily.

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• 1 year of verifiable related work or life experience.
• Experience in mental health, residential or partial care services desirable.
• Valid driver’s license and must be insurable under Agency's automobile insurance policy.
